Why? and how am I to remedy this?
The Android app is not compatible with the new mainnet yet, you have to use the desktop version of the wallet, downloadable from here Download the Lisk Wallet for Desktop | Lisk. As for the mobile version you can track the progress here Projects · LiskHQ/lisk-mobile · GitHub.
